When you are interested in hiring a remotely piloted aircraft (RPA), it's easy to be confused by the large range of people and businesses offering UAV and drone services in Australia. To help you make an informed decision, we have provided you with information about Talon Aerial Media and how we operate, as well as answered the most common questions that people have when they are considering hiring a UAV.

Talon Aerial Media is an Australian owned and operated UAV/Drone company located in Old Bar, just east of Taree in NSW. We have a passion for all things related to Remotely Piloted Aircraft and are always on the lookout for the latest developments and opportunities in the field of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. We utilise the latest technology and ideas to ensure we are always at the forefront of our industry.

To operate an unmanned aerial vehicle for a commercial purpose, we are required to hold a number of certifications. Talon Aerial Media operates under its own Operators Certificate (CASA.UOC.0680). This means our company procedures have been assessed by CASA and our Chief Controller has personally passed a CASA assessment covering both theory and practical skills. We are also a member of the Australian Certified Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operators Association, ensuring that we are able to maintain the highest standards expected within the Remote Piloted Aircraft industry.

Despite our UOC (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operators Certificate) allowing us to fly almost anywhere in Australia, in order to ensure that other aircraft and the public are safe, there are a few restrictions and limitations that we must observe. This allows everyone to share the air and work safely.
